HOW TO GO TO KOH SAMUI

Bangkok Airways is the only airline flying to the island since it built a charming airport with a 2100m strip in 1988. Very well managed, the company got many awards, both for its airport (Asia Architectural Design Award in 1998, 4th Best Asia Airport Smart Travel Asia Award in 2006) and for the quality of its services (2006 Airline Excellence Award from Skytrax, 2006 Best Regional Airline Award from World Airline, and 2006 Regional Airline of the Year from the Center for Asia Pacific Aviation). In addition to a superb Thai food restaurant, the airport, a delightful "village" of Thai-style open wooden houses, even has its own "Soul to Sole" Spa. Bangkok Airways modern fleet counts 8 ATR 72-500, 4 Boeing 717-200 (120 seats), and 3 Airbus 320 (162 seats).
